Slow Horses is brilliant.

Foundation is very good but got a little (OK, very) weird toward the end of the season. I don't know who plays the Empire guy, but he does calculated evil very well.

Prehistoric Planet looks good, even though it's made by the BBC but restricted to Apple TV+.

Much of it is really quite good, some of it I found a bit 'apple' - i.e. amazing styling but maybe not the greatest substance.

Slow Horses I really enjoyed, Beastie Boys Story was good, Ted Lasso superb, For All Mankind (I thought 1st series took a while to get going then it was great after about 1/2 way), Invasion was superb (whole family loved that), Severance utterly brilliant, Suspicion quite good (good cast, but it lost its way a wee bit towards the end).

There's a lot on there.

Calls I;ve watched\listened to the first 2 episodes of, reminds me of Cloverfield, gripping! (more like a really good radio 4 drama)

Edit: I also loved Foundation, but thats definitely a bit Marmite.

There's a great "How to spell" documentary, but unfortunately that's on (the) Netflix (thread) 😉

Severance is absolutely fantastic. I also enjoyed the Beastie Boys doc, Slow Horses and Ted Lasso. But that's pretty much it.

Isn't he also the blue-ish baddy fella in Guardians of the Galaxy? Ronin maybe?

He does it well, love the flipping between time periods and getting my head around which Brother Day is now Brother Dusk etc.

Awesome!

Agree that Slow Horses is brilliant, some of the best TV I've seen in ages.

Not finished Severance yet - good, but a tough watch. Enjoyed first series of Morning Show (second less so). Part way through Tehran and liking it.

I thought Swagger was great too, but I do like basketball.

Ted Lasso is great.
Severance is one of the best shows I've watched for years.
See is very good but might be channeling the walking dead a bit too much.

Slow Horses was kind of bad, aside from Gary Oldman.

If you haven’t watched it yet, “the morning show” was very good. Haven’t watched the second series yet, but the first one was excellent.

Severance - Superb
See - very good with some well done physical acting.
Tiny Worlds - The narration is very ‘Disney’ but the camera work is amazing.
Ted Lasso - super and I hate football.
Slow Horses - Yup!
Invasion - super

How is this even remotely "Apple"? Nothing Apple does is style over substance. It's usually the embodiment of style AND substance - that's why it all sells so well. It may not be the very best in one particular area, but the whole is usually greater than the sum of its parts.

1. Foundation
2. For All Mankind
3. Slow Horses

Slow Horses is indeed brilliant. Don’t take it seriously, just sit back and watch Gary Oldman at work.

Ted Lasso I thought was great for the first 4-5 episodes, then the cliched characters and repetitive (and often not funny) phrases from Ted started to become tiresome. Put it this way - we watched all of S1 and the first 2 episodes of S2 in super quick succession, but have only seen 1 further episode in 3 months since.

Severance doesn’t do it for me but will give it another go at some time.

Tehran is intriguing even though it hasn’t exactly grabbed us. Am working through S1.

All of the above and...
Physical with Rose Byrne - massively underrated
Servant - creepy thriller
Mosquito Coast from Neil Cross (Luther)
Wolfwalkers from Cartoon Saloon if you like animation
The Morning Show for drama

I got it to watch the most recent Ewan McGregor bike trip. Was worth it for that alone.

Morning show was rubbish. A missed opportunity for satire on news shows.

Shining Girls
Mosquito Coast (suprised me after poor reviews - enjoyed that)

Same for me

I also never really got into The Morning Show

For All Mankind - I'm glad I stuck with (as it's a bit slow in places), hopefully s2 is as good as s1

See - watched most of s1 & s2 but it's never really grabbed me, some good episodes but quite a few duff ones to

Foundation - really enjoyed (I'm sure I read some of the books as a kid but couldn't remember any of it so went in without any preconceptions etc.)

Invasion - decent but ended up a bit meh

I'm surprised "Trying" hasn't got a mention. A touch saccharine, but would heartily recommend.
