[Closed] Apple products love in (reader, its not)

Haven't added any new podcasts to my ipod for a while and it turns out I don't appear to be able to now as iTunes has gone and the thing thats replaced it is as easy to work as iTunes was......

So in the past I could drag and drop anything into my iPod when it was plugged into my mac book via a menu on the left hand side of the screen showing my ipod, now I can only drag and drop to a folder that I open which appears to be my ipod but the podcasts don't appear on the ipod.

I work all day long with Apple stuff and I have a largely hate/hate relationship with them due to the sometimes lack of (for me at least) ease of use.

What is the blindingly obvious/deviously hidden away solution?

And yes I still have an iPod!
