[#3506493]

I've decided on a 'dry' New Year. Racing the Puffer24 solo following weekend.
Not going down too well with a few friends who think I'm taking it all 'too serious' but my wife's happy to go for a good meal instead. And I'm sure we can have a 'night-cap' if we feel the need (just the one to take in the bells).
Out on the bike Sunday morning - no hangover - ohh yes. (I know, I'll admit that I am getting old ๐Ÿ˜€ but I don't really care!)

Not drunk in best part of 15 years, so another "dry" NYE for me!

Will probably be working too anyway, so no biggie.

After working late/early, on-call or nights every NYE since the millenium, I am drinking tomorrow night. Although just at home with our four beshtest friends so probably nothing horrendous...

Yep, me. I'm pretty much done with drinking completely apart from a very rare social pint like today. But I don't see any logic in alcohol in all honesty.

Won't be drinking that night and not sure when I will again

I won't be.

WTF is an imperial century? Doesn't sound very British if it requires sobriety.

I am considering getting a nice bottle of malt and getting smashed with a few mates in the house.

Been exactly a year since I last drank. Will do when I get to target weight. (2st off, another 2st to go).
No place for booze if I'm keen on shifting weight.

Surely it's a 100+ mile ride with minty sweets?

I will be drinking on behalf of you lot and may accidentally shout your usernames once inebriated in tribute. I'm glad "anus" hasn't contributed yet.

I have a lot of respect for those that forego the temptation and participate among the drunken idiots without damaging their own brains. Here's to you *raises a glass of Weston's*

I'll be dry. Possibly driving around Sunday morning and planning on getting up at 6am for an early ride before my 6 year old wakes up. No he'll not be left alone, his mother's in the house. Maybe I'll get back in time to make them breakfast :o)

So an imperial century is.....a century.

Anyone thinking a metric century can have its prefix omitted is quite clearly wrong.

I'm going to try. Not had a drink since Boxing Day, been drinking far too much in recent years and decided enough is enough, can't say I won't drink again but I hope I don't.

Looks like a dry one due to digestive issues here as well, although with 2 kids under 5 it was never going to be a big night anyway.

Seeing as how I can't hold down any food just at the moment I figure I might give it a miss tonight.

Couple of glasses of wine maybe. Less than a normal Saturday night I expect.

Working through until Tues so even less point than normal for NYE.
