I didn't really like sagrada familia. I might enjoy it as a lego build more.

Will it take fewer than 144 years to build?

Maybe it says in the instructions, please ensure you have at least 3 generations of your family willing to commit to this build.

The cost of buying the kit, at £645, might cause some ‘interesting’ conversations rather than where it’s going to go, and how long it’s going to take to build it! Apparently, it’s been designed to follow the same order of construction as the actual cathedral.

I’ve never been that bothered about visiting Spain, but I’d love to visit Barcelona to see Gaudi’s architecture, especially the Sagrada Familia now that it’s finally nearly complete!

Does the person who buys it, have to get hit by a tram shortly after getting it home?

I found a lot of it quite OTT. Possibly didn't help that you're constantly fending off touts and tourist scammers and trying to keep an eye out for pickpockets as you try to walk down Las Ramblas.

My rule of thumb for Lego pricing value is 10p/brick.  By that metric it's an absolute bargain.

That set looks like it will be horribly tedious to build.  All the same colour and patterns.  Not for me

Yeah, I thought the same. If I wanted that kind of repetition I could do a jigsaw

If I wanted that sort of repitition I'd learn to be a bricklayer.
