[#574936]

First time in years I've done up a mix for a few friends having given up mixing seriously a few years back.

Sort of summery house on a feel-good tip selected and mixed by myself. No chinstroking, just nice fresh summer tunes. Free free to download if it's your kind of thing. Hope you enjoy 🙂

Download: www.andrew-brough-design.co.uk/downloads/summer_nights_and_disco_daze.zip

Here's the cover:

Before I download this, are we talking about Hed Kandi's idea of house and disco, or proper stuff?

In fact, get a tracklist up.

About 45 mins in to my ride I thought to myself 'yeah it's, alright, bit poppy for my liking, plus I've got most of the tunes already'. I was listening to my ipod on random.

Like the mix though, gave me an extra half hour out as I was previously flagging with a hangover!

Bit too much vocal stuff for my tastes but good show on firing a mix up

Fair play, not everyone digs vocals.

Before everyone thinks this is a vocal-fest 'Where you belong', 'Vicious Circle' and 'Kaskade' are the vocal tracks in the mix, they're blowing up at the minute and I thought worthy of inclusion.

I liked it alot! Not what i normally listen to, Im more into minimal, but well mixed, and feelgood tunes... Especially like the second to last song.

Cheers Lyons 🙂

I like minimal too, in fact all sorts, my other half plays a lot of fidget house and tech. I felt like doing something I could listen to in the car or chilling outside. Neither of us are serious about mixing anymore, but it's a nice distraction.

I knocked up a web page earlier (I was bored as I'm off the bike and it's what I do 9-5) – so if anyone wants to post this link elsewhere, or send it to mates then go for it. I'm not motivated by gigs or anything like that (been there, etc) but it's quite nice to get it out there.

yeah, just been listening to it again... That ARno Cost song is great. I'll have to get that on beatport or something. To be honest, i do listen to most stuff, i'm quite a fan of pryda really. I guess the thing is, i dont know much of this kind of stuff. SO much of it seems to be rubbish. BUt yeah, I Like all the tracks you put up there. I think I'll have to search for some more...

Cheers for the mix, is there anyway I can get a copy of the m3u or cue file?

Assume that's what your track list is from?

I looked into this as I didn't think you could burn cue files without a .bin, but apparently you can use them with mp3s in Windows/Nero:

I've uploaded a .cue file to the link below, hope it works for you.
