Just had a go on my trombone after about 15 year of not playing and suddenly remembered how much fun I had as a student playing in various bands etc. Anyone else fancy joining in? (I'm in the Manchester area) Duets/quartets/jazz band. I like all of it so just need some people to play with and the longer since you used to play the better as I'm absolutely rubbish!

No trombone here any more though. And I am way down in Devon.
Shame, I would have made you feel so good about yourself as despite being pretty ok at other instruments and reading/sightreading music ('how hard can a brass instument really be?' I asked myself at the time) I was absolutely abominable at it! Beyond a mean diatonic harmonica, I just can't co-ordinate my mouth and my hands/arms. There's got to be an innuendo in there somewhere!
