Flipping freezing outside, anyone had any snow? Just cold here in South Yorkshire.
Snowing in Aviemore
Blizzardtastic at Nethy,* and the Mrs reports a car off the road on the dava moor. Ive just ordered my snowshoes- woo hoo!

Brief flurry this morning in Newcastle, which very quickly turned to sleet then rain.
And now it's sunny.
Not seen any snow yet on Dartmoor, but could definitely smell it in the air this afternoon..

None around NE Northumberland but some on cheviot.

Seriously, it's so nice to walk outside and have sharp, clear air that cools you, rather than muggy summer nonsense.
Had it for a couple of weeks above the treeline in the NW Alps, upper lift station and access roads currently blocked. Just heard reports of a white out further down the valley as well.

I don't want a major dump of snow yet, supposed to be going up to Glentress on Wednesday.
About an inch here, and getting heavier. Woohoo! First snow this year. Looks like the road bike might be staying in tomorrow, and putting some miles in on the mtb. I'll be disappointed if it melts mind. That's the worst thing about snow. The disappointment as it fails to reach your expectations.

Woken up to an inch of snow here in Co Durham this morning and it's just started snowing again.

Yes, just opened the blinds. Clear sky and frozen flakes on the roof of the car. No where else, just tops of cars.
We seem to miss all the snow in South West Cumbria! It is cold and blue skies though, so can't complain!
However we do get ALL the rain. Which is not so good.
Not here in northants but I had to scrape my windscreen this morning before leaving for work, not ideal!
No snow on the south coast but a clear, cruel, cobalt dawn and a raw wind moaning and keening with gold rush cabin intensity. Winter has ambushed!
