[#422020]

Right. Me last class tonight, so I'm putting together a little presentation for my students.

Has anyone got any examples of stuff that's been created in Photoshop? I want to be able to show all sorts of different examples of how PS can be used, and as many varied styles as possible. Got some of me own stuff, and a good few bits off tinternet, but the more the merrier. Thought I'd ask on here, as many of you are highly creative individuals.

Any pics will only be shown during an informal presentation within an educational setting. The place where I work is run by a charity, and therefore will not be profiting in any way from this. It's just to help people learn.

I'd be really grateful for anything youseuv got.

(And please, nowt smutty!)

Thanks.

PS, I'll be leaving about 5.30. I know, short notice and that!

A few years old now, but still one of my favourites. I don't seem to get the time to play about with stuff like this lately. Feel free to use it for presentation if you like it RB.

I seem to remember sending you one - ever print it out?

.....mainly tinkered with levels, saturation (layers and masking to desaturate the background and oversaturate the subject) & curves as far as I can remember. Perhaps sharpening, but I don't think so.

Feel free! I originally did as a promo desktop download anyway (well actually I did it for fun because I'd taken a good picture of a cow, and then put it up as download so it looked like I'd been working ๐Ÿ˜‰ You get the picture)

(That dates it doesn't it; I haven't got it in any widescreen resolutions! If you need a different aspect, let me know and I'll see what I can do!)

the best place is the taylor james website as they show stage by stage retouching of stuff that goes to print.

Some cracking stuff there, peeps! Thanks, seriously; these are perfect.

I love you all.

Cept for SFB, who is like the disruptive kid who gets sent to the headmaster's office all the time.

(Not really SFB; I love you too)

Speshly love the Steer's head. Brilliant.

Well, big thanks to everyone who contributed, even those who posted pics after I'd left!

The presentation went very well, and some of your pics were shown along with a load of other stuff.

you should have said you wanted dodgy amateur retouching/playing with photoshop

I did, actually. I wanted a whole range of stuff, from professional work, to clumsy amateur attempts. I wanted to show a broad range of how Photoshop techniques are applied. From the superb advertising picture by TB Martin, richpips' arty stuff, and colande's simple editing of the box, they all illustrated, perfectly, what can be achieved.

Even the more jokey stuff is good. My aim was to help people learn, and have fun with PS. And they have. 2 of my students produced a flyer for an event, which got printed up, so it was great to see people using new skills, that I helped them learn.

Once again, thanks to all of you.

Milkie; wish you'd posted that link earlier!
