Just cleared my old double garage, dug out my mig, compressor and all my old imperial tools.
Idle hands are needing a project.

Wow, you have just stired a distant memory. When i was 16 i was given a 100e. Sidevalve etc....it was my firat car!

My dad has built and restored cars for as long as I can remember. He only has one now as his eyesight has got so bad as he can't drive and would be a liability on the tools.
My eldest daughter now drives him about in it when he wants to go out.
Think its that which gave her the itch to restore a Mk1 MX5
