Need the innards for a home made one
I'm confused. You want someone to take apart their phone charger that costs [b]99pence[/b], send you the innards so you can make one?

I think that he wants someone with a cheap one to look at it to see if might be easy to disassemble, with a view to buying one for him/herself if it is.

Sarcasm aside though, they're very easy indeed to disassemble. You just give the dock connector a pull and it'll snap straight off the cable.
Im making some wooden docks with some students and was going to take some 99p cables apart, but thought it may be better to take a dock base apart as its already at a right angle. So basically i wanted to know if it would be easy to take off the top white bit that the phone sits into and replace it with a nice wooden one.
