Just bought a PC that I fancy Hackintoshing, but the card in it (XFX Radeon HD 5750 1gb) apparently doesn't work too well.

Don't suppose anyone fancies a swap for a similar level GeForce that will work?

I have no idea how comparable it is but I've got an old 8800GT sitting around doing nowt, you'd be welcome to it. Absolutely no idea if it works though, and it's entirely possible it'll explode your PC as a result 😉 Hence not selling it.

Tempting, but I think I'll pass... I'm trying to avoid the whole PC exploding scenario 😉

Cheers for the offer though, much appreciated

I've got a GTX570 i'm thinking of flogging cos I just don't really game much any more. You can see how it compares to a 5750 by searching this list:

Ooh - might be interested, apparently 10.8.2 has support out the box. I guess you're after selling rather than a swap? How much?

Dunno tbh, i'll have to have a look at it tonight and see how much it's worth. It's this one:

One thing to bear in mind is that it is pretty massive tbh. I have a xigmatek elysium case so no issue for me, but I would check the dimensions of the card and check your case (make sure your 3.5" bays don't foul it either)

That really is a monster!

Looking at the prices I fear it may be out of my price range sadly.

Looking at completed auctions on eBay more they seem to be finishing between £120 and £160. Yeah... Even if I sell mine that's a bit more than I can justify 🙁

Need to have a clearout and free up some cash!
