Yep, wife will be working tonight, please don't punch or puke on her.
Sons already face down on his bed.
Daughter has gone to bed with my grand daughter.

Having a drink, a nice read. Might have a look at ideas for a new bike for next year. Riding in the morning.

It's been a corking year, and I feel slightly stewed already.

I'm 7 hours behind you all in the UK, so presently have an 8-lb pork shoulder on the smoker and after stuffing ourselves with that coupled with a little wine, will settle in for a quiet evening, away from the crowds
Happy New Year to all

I have: cheese, biscuits, fig jam, red wine and port. Plus Mrs Sandwich and a daft dog (he's just barked himself hoarse at the Paul O'Grady Battersea show on demand tv).

I might just see in the New Year, it's a standing joke that I go to bed too early.

Hpaay New Year all.

OK, so does leaping around the sitting room to 90s dance tunes count as "a quiet one"? Only, Miss North (aged 3) is leading the charge….! Oi Oi!

Had a fairly quiet one planned anyway but poor mrs blobby has had to pop to the hospital to be checked out (just a precaution hopefully with blobby jr no 2 on the way in Feb.) Anyway I'm home with jr no 1 in bed and preparing a family feast for tomorrow. Having a spotify retro music night, Tindersticks at the moment.

Hope 2014 sees all your dry dusty trail dreams fulfilled 🙂

Mrs Pook has gone to bed. Fireworks are threatening to wake mini Pook. The washing up needs doing and after that it's either glenlivet or laphroaig.

All in all a better NYE than I've had in many a year!

After 7 pints I had the option to a) go friends and drink more, b) go pub and drink more, or c) go home and have a pizza and some water.

I must be getting old as I chose c).

Was due to go to a mates house for some mental street party, except i got some weird fever thing going on last night so its a dry one at home for me.

In positive news, used the time to give the dremmel and pillar drill an outing and have just made a pair of spindley things to replace a plastic bobbin i snapped

Zoe's gone to bed too tired to wait for 2014. Sat here with Family Guy, Jools and some Hoegaarden waiting for the new year. Will grab the Laphroaig in a few minutes for a quiet solo toast.

TBH prefer it this way to milling around with pissed randoms in town and feeling like crap in the morning.

Could do without the shit dance music throbbing bass through the wall from next door though...

Phone making all sorts of noises as everyone who is out/drunk/etc decides they need to wish the world HNY..
Just put the last log for tonight on the fire, closed down the draw and listening to Alchemy Live whilst supping a lovely tot of Eau de Vie 🙂

Yup same sentiment here , Had a invite to a mates party (which is always good) but got home from work at 8 and decided to stay in and talk to vodafone online to sort out my mobile phone contract. 🙁 My Missus is sitting yawning and I told her to go to bed as It's the same as any other night.Ditched FB last night after about 6 years so wont have to read the endless shoite NY updates so Gonna get the headphones on and listen to some 'Eels' then hit the hay.

HAPPY NEW YEARS SINGLETRACKERS..............
