Firstly I presume the usual (bigboy) suspects will have the "deals" on but wondering of any decent local outfits anyone's used.
Also what colour for a house of two teenagers and a dog! Only upstairs and stairs being done as ground floor is oak.
Must be over 10 years since we last bought any.

Hallam and Whittle in Ripley are very good, not the cheapest but good quality and proper old school shop. The fitter is also excellent, he's not quick but really does take pride in his work.

Not bought any recently but i've always used Spondon Carpets. Not even sure if they're still in business, but worth a try.
