Need a travel pack thingy for working away up to 3-4 days at a time. Something like this...

I don't want a hard case as sometimes I'll be carrying it on trains, public transport and occasionally the Tube/bus/taxi etc in that there London, so I want it lightweight. I don't think I want an actual rucksack as I'll probably have a small one of those anyway with laptop etc in. Other than that it will be in the boot of the car. Doesn't need to pack a suit but a few smart shirts, toiletries, a book or two, chargers etc. I'd like a few compartments/pockets to organise stuff ideally. Doesn't have to be the cheapest but under £150 I guess...

Thanks in advance 🙂

Get one with urethane wheels (Kryptonic Red would be good) . A visit to Bruge a couple of years back was marred by the sound wheely bags on the cobbles...

For the last five years our daughter has dragged a Dakine carry on roller bag around the world along with a Polaris Axial Pod bike bag. The bike bag she won and I think we paid £50 in the sale for the Dakine. Both bags are still going strong.

I have that osprey. I like it. It’s very lightweight, which is fine if you look after it. I think it might be less hardwearing than some, so if your flying a lot & entrusting it to baggage systems then maybe not for you.

I have a smaller one too. I like that too.

Thanks. It’s domestic use only and if it ever went on an aircraft it would be internal flights. Doubt it will ever get any airmiles tbh. I wonder if 75 is too big though. I’ve got a 30 litre rucksack that is deffo too small for 3-4 nights away but I wonder if 40litres is enough. It’s hard to tell from the pics…

I got one of these ( https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/15979409/technicals-exodus-lite-40-15979409) for travelling for work. Fits a few changes of clothes, pair of shoes, washbag etc in without even thinking about it. Would probably do for a bit longer if I bothered packing it properly. Fits in an overhead locker as well. I have a backpack for laptop etc so this is purely for clothes.

I’d avoid wheels if possible. Sport pursuit have the Osprey 36l Transporter Global Carry-On for the bargain price of £40 which may do the job.
