Hi

after someone who can turn a block of hardwood into a neat wooden wall mount for a barometer.

Daftvader of this parish is in the Stoke and does crafty stuff to/with knives. Worth asking, I'd say, as he'd either be able to do it, or might know a like minded artisan turnerist.

Email/ring this chap, specialist woodturning shop based in Didcot south of Oxford. Knows pretty much everybody in the area who partakes of that kind of thing (and employs some of them too).
