I've got an Acer Palmatum Disectum that's growing very nicely in a big pot and it's got loads of buds on. I've also noticed it's got lots of, what appear to be, flowers..
Never seen them before and was wondering if it's normal for Acer's to flower?

It's probably doing ok if it's flowering. For plants normally flower. You said growing nicely.
Though a sick one may go a bit mad, which is called agony flowering. Think - Oh I'm going to die, best use up my energy making flowers, pollen and seeds rather than leave it to the fungi.

Yeah, it looks very healthy. Plenty of fresh shoots and no signs of anything unusual.
Just never seen it flower before..
