How quickly could you build and dismantle a bridge big enough for a cycle race track to pass over and under?

not a scaffy, but seen and worked alongside a lot of them....

the length of the bridge will mean affect how much scaffolding it'll need. the bigger the gap, the more complex.

erecting it up will probably take twice as long as stripping in down. i've seen a group of three lads strip scaffing from a house within an hour.

not much help, sorry

Thanks.

Just spoken to our on-site builder who has given me a time estimate.

I dunno, but they had such a bridge at the edinburgh street DH race, so maybe ask the organisers?

A decent gang should piss it in a day if it isnt a long span.

Try ER Campbell - 01204 520182
S&S Scaffolding - 01942 883324
Ace - 0161 787 7872

All them are ok.

We've only got hours. It has to be in use by 10:00am and can't be left over night.

Thinking of contacting the Royal Engineers unit just up the road to see if they want to bring down some bridging equipment to show off with.

they do this at the cross race at herne hill velodrome. they might be able to help....

Where do you think we've stolen the idea from? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Our problem is that the site isn't secure and is booked for a dog show the day after.
