There's a travellers site that is now vacant.

What you'll want, is a site near the Hollywood of Essex:

Ony £90,000 of public money, that sign. They know how to spend wisely in Basildon!

Basildon you say, elfin? I've heard great things about Basildon. Very welcoming from memory.

There's a nice one in Abbess Roding. I think it's a Caravan Club site.

Very peaceful place with a beautiful church.

Basildon is indeed welcoming, Yoss. In fact, the local council has spent £17 million over the last ten years to provide camp sites for people such as yourselves.

Oh, hang on....

I got married in that church, it's just around the corner from the outlaws. My little girl was christened there too.

It's probably as much "in the country" as you can get for Essex.

Plenty of canavan parks in coastal areas... Heybrigde, west mersea, St osyth's or try north of clacton... stay clear of Canvey Island... its dear to my heart but I wouldnt send anyone there for holiday.

Oh and that Basildon sign doesn't look nearly as bad in the fresh as you'd think.

It cost ninety thousand pounds. Of public money.

This, from a council what spent how much on providing new campsites in the area?

Oh....
