Hoping someone can shed some (ahem) light on this...
We have 'bistro' type lights outside, with LED S14 bulbs. A few of the bulbs have gone, so I bought some replacements (which look, and apparently are rated, identically), and can't get a single one of them to work.
All the new bulbs will work in sockets indoors; all the functional old bulbs will work in the outdoor bistro light sockets. But the new bulbs won't work in the outdoor bistro lights.
What am I missing?

have you tried a working bulb in a non-working socket - maybe it's not the bulbs at fault
