Sadly no dishwaher to buy salt for ..... its a bit of a crappy one.
So STW HIVE what be your suggestions?
As a back up I could go pottery (US) or Bronze (US) ..... 😕
Spa Day, salt baths and such.
Apparently salt is the 8th Anniversary in the UK. In the US it's bronze or pottery. You could go transatlantic for a year?

She won't know what it's for, and she'll be amazed you do.
And also she will be amazed you didn't buy her a bag of table salt or a set of grinders like she was expecting.
Win win.

You can get salt-glazed pottery
There are more salts than just table salt. Copper Sulphate is used in intaglio printmaking - so maybe buy some art. Magnesium sulcate is used in bath salts (particularly floatation tanks) - so maybe a spa break

Its what Aberdeen is such a popular romantic get-away destination for 110 year old couples.
Anything involving a Michelin recommended coastal restaurant, and a night or two in a boutique hotel.
Bonus point for any desert that involves 'salted caramel sauce'.
Lovely bottle of tequila ?
And some lemons & salt.
