I have an honor 8 phone which until recently was working fine. However now the music playback via headphones is awful. It's really quiet, distorted and a waste of time. It works fine with podcasts, just not with the amazon music app.
I thought it was my normal headphones at first so tried my Bluetooth ones and the problem is still there.
Has anyone else suffered this? Is there a fix? I looked on line but didn't really see anything that helped.

Does music played through a different app sound ok? Try mp3 files on the phone and YouTube videos as a test.
Also try playing through phone speakers to see if you get the same distortion.
If podcasts are fine it sounds like an app issue.
