Congratulations! She's beautiful, and as already said don't worry about the size - if she isn't already she'll be running rings round you by tomorrow.

+1 on the get some sleep in before they come home, you're going to need it 🙂

Might also be worth having a cheeky browse through the classifieds while you've got the chance - you're bike shopping days are over for a while!

Congratulations!! They take a bit of getting used to but are ace! 😀

Our lad is 14 months. people say it goes quickly and they grow up fast - they are right. Spend as much time as you can with her and remember every bit of it. Soon she will be a toddler, throwing herself on the floor about 100 times a day and you will wonder where the time went.

In a strange way this thread sort of reminds me how we're all growing up. 10 years ago or so (when this was all fields) we would have a Monday a roll call of the fallen ( nightclub or DH race track) now here we all are congratulating each other over babies. Same names, different lives

Congrats to you all! 😀
I remember the night my first was born. Crazy!!! She's now 18 months old and my wife is 7 months pregnant!!! Nothing can prepare you for it but nothing can give the same rewards....ever.

Evie now points at anyone on a bike and shouts "Daddy"...t'was ammusing for the first few times. Now it's like she has tourettes!!!! Still proud tho!

Hey, thanks again all.

Just back from the hosp. Mrs North now out of bed, though she's had a tough day and is now anaemic, poor thing.

Back again at 10am tomorrow. I'm exhausted and so far I haven't had any sleepless nights..!

😀
