Maybe not too useful for planning, but fascinating to watch

That's hypnotic, and fascinating.
Interesting to see the Doldrums region at the Equator in both the Atlantic and Pacific, and the highly complicated wind systems around Antarctica.
Saved that to my homepage, thank you. ๐Ÿ˜€

Like. Can anyone vouch for its accuracy?

Rubbish! Those two lows in the north Atlantic didn't move at all; normally they would be belting across towards Russia.

Very good.

Unless I'm mistaken is it not showing that the worst weather on the planet is currently around the North Atlantic and the UK!

I love that you can see things like the mistral and chinooks in action.

I did these two screen grabs last night, of the North Atlantic, as close as I could get them, one from the earth.nullschool site, the other from Meteogroup's Meteoearth app, which gives wind, precipitation, cloud, etc. it shows that both are displaying pretty much the same information at the same time. So yeah, I'd say it's pretty accurate.

I love the way most of Europe is covered, and a bit of north Africa, but Chippenham is the only place of note ๐Ÿ˜‰

That'll be because it geolocates using my GPS for weather forecasting purposes, as WeatherPro, their other product does.
