anyhoo i have been trying to sign into bot accounts (haven't changed any pass words).google chrome doesn't recognize my pass, and i cannot load the hotmail page (it keeps getting timed out by chrome 😕

it's really annoying now (whenever i try and go to hotmail site,it says connecting a secure connection, then google chrome keeps saying it cannot find hotmail page (it keeps timing out) 😕

have looked at macaffee(!?) security that came with the laptop to see if it was stopping the page loading for some reason, but cannot find anything in my limited pc knowhow.

again thanks in advance 🙂

Do other sites load OK? I had similar issues with timeouts on a new PC and it turned out it was continually dropping the Wifi connection. Updating the drivers fixed it.

i managed to load the log in page for hotmail (then typed my password and clicked ok) i did't get any password not recognised,it just started to time out after entering my pass (click ok).it's most strange. p.s i.m using a 3 mobile payg dongle for my internet connection (as i don't have a phone line. thanks for your help btw 🙂

p.s all other pages (so far are loading).

Uninstall McAfee and let Windows Defender take over. Failing that,

i.m using a 3 mobile payg dongle for my internet connection

... is probably the answer.

What are other pages like?

Try a different browser too, if they all behave the same chances it's not the browser either.
