Needing a new one after many many years. They are great at keeping watertight and are compact, but is anything slightly warmer? We find after a few hours they cool unless hidden in a spare jacket or hat.
Bonus if it could sit in a bottle cage.
Must be guaranteed watertight when bouncing around hills in bottom of rucksack.
My chilli mug stays hot for aaaaaaaaaages. And absolutely water tight.

Sits in my bottle cage with hot tea, on cold winter rides. I've had it over four years, & it will keep stuff warm for hours. It's not an exact fit in the bottle cage, so occasionally goes flying on rougher jumpy tracks 😉
Kind of related... pro tip (which I stole from someone else): if you cut an old sports bottle at the right point, you can make a sleeve that a Lifeventure mug fits into, which then stays put in a bottle cage. It'll also help add a bit of insulation, though I suspect most heat is lost through the lid... I know what you mean about wishing they would stay hotter just a bit longer.
I’m huge fan of Ocean Brew Flask.
I use mine every day without fail. Keeps everything super hot, proper waterproof (upside down in bag) and really robust. Ideal size as well.
Spendy but lasts well so good investment.
*edit, real life life science in action, I just took a slurp after making coffee at 9am and its almost hot enough to burn my mouth. Not quite, but almost.

Excellent. I'll try that.
I bought one of the Singletrackworld Klean Kanteen bottles and am impressed with it. Top doesn’t leak and it keeps drinks warm for hours
I have s Yeti Rambler. There’s screw or slide lids, the screw is properly sealed and keeps a drink hot for ages.

Me too its taken a beating too. Gets used daily.
+1 for Ocean Bottle Brew Flask
Properly insulated and drip proof.
Only slight niggle is for milk based drinks like Latte, it’s a bit slow to sip from.
On the plus side, you can buy spares and I think they replace for free the first time you lose or break a bit.
We have three Contigo mugs/flasks and they are excellent. Don't leak, very robust, keep contents hot.
Might work in a bottle cage too. Can't remember if I've tried that.
Yeti rambler here - not tried it in a bottle cage to be honest but it does keep tea warm all day, it’s very watertight and it’s quite nice to drink from in a way no other travel mug I’ve experienced is (the profile of the lid gives an inch of open cup at the top rather than sooking through a hole and hoping you don’t scald your mouth)
I wouldn’t be putting an expensive mug in a standard bottle cage, although I guess it depends what kind of trails you ride. I use a Stanley mug, which fits conveniently into my Fox hippack bottle holder, and is really secure there. The mug isn’t huge though,
