We are looking to go to the alps in June.
Must haves are a great hotel with a view and easy fantastic days out on the train.
No biking is involved.
What can you recommend?

Not been there yet, but somewhere in the Jungfrau seems to meet those criteria.

Swimming and water sports in the lake, train station, ski resort so great walking, lift access etc.

As mentioned, here in CH they are rather proud of their trains. I know many people that have done the Glacier Express and loved it.
