This thread is rapidly losing its bearings, 80s and sex. Failing that, SFB's classic:

Mr_C i was refering to the millions of "Tainted love" covers, not the best cover in general, but it's still a goodun

If we're wandering off the beaten track then it's time for a bit of hair metal. Love this bands first album - still listen to it 20+ years later. Saw them supporting Guns n Roses at Rock City in Nottinghem - best gig I've ever been to.

Appetite for Destruction was released in the '80s.

Always comforting to know how little you really know about music...long live your likes.

Your point is?

Yes, I realise it was released in the 80's, just that I thought this thread was about quality stuff....

No New Model Army, although they were a vey local band and I saw them in concert at a local benefit gig (miners or something), I wouldn't say they were majorly significant in my youth.

No New Model Army?

51st State then...

A hugely influential part of my teenage years in the 80's. I was forever driving to Hebden Bridge to get my clogs re-soled at Walkley's. Til I got some proper 'irons' put on in the end...

lines in the rain
Special effects by Loonatik and Drinks
The graveyard scene
The golden years

She's in parties
It's in the can (twice)

Freeze frame screen kiss
Hot heads under silent wigs
Fall guys tumble on the cutting room floor
Look-a-likes fall on the cutting room door

She's in parties
It's in the can (twice)

Learning lines in the rain
Special effects by Loonatik and drinks
Freeze frame, screen kiss, hot heads, lights and power
It's patently obvious

She's in parties
It's in the can (twice)

Hot lines under a rain of drum
Cigarette props in action
Dialogue dub, now heres the rub
She's acting her reaction

She's in parties
It's in the can
