There was a great documentary on BBC4 the other night - Synth Brittannia - all about the post punk synth-pop era. Still on Iplayer - well worth a watch.

Anyroad bombadillo, no, I'm not Barnsley born and bred, I'm originally from Wakefield, so we probably know, or know of, one another. I used to play drums in The Juvies, and kicked about in Players, etc, for years. Bombadillo, I'm presuming, is just your STW username.
