I was looking for the right song for a video I'm editing last night and came across the Slingbacks album, All Pop No Star. 14 years on and I'm still in love with Shireen Liane, something about the way she pronounces every single word like it has an H in it goes directly to the groin

we have to take a short break now as our bass player needs surgery on his wrists - carpal tunnel syndrome; but we're back in August, as indicated on the Myspace page
I'm trying to get some gigs sorted elsewhere in the North but these things take time. Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield, Barnsley, York, Wakefield, Doncaster etc - the sort of places we can get to in time to soundcheck after a full day's work.
