Sliding side door was forced open last night (ready of doors locked - how do they even do that?)
How can I easily and cheaply fit an air alarm if the doors are opened? None fitted currently afaik
Does it have to be an air alarm? I got one of these for use when taking bikes away to rentals. It’s loud.

Deadlocks fitted? I’d do that first if not. Cheap & visible deterrent. The security on most (all?) vans stock from factory is pathetic.
@zilog6128 completely stock as is, what dead locks would you use
Something like this

I have them on the sliding & barn doors.
(If you have a Ford then you urgently need to replace the driver’s lock also, the stock lock can be defeated in seconds!)

I’ve not used it for extended periods so can’t really comment, although the reviews say 3 months for continuous use and someone else says 6 months.
I used that very alarm for my workshop and van, so cheap you can fit a few. Battery life was excellent and no false alarms. I think I got mine from Aldi or Lidl. Hope this helps.

5 second job with your bare hands to get in one of those apparently.
Deadlocks a good visual deterrent to opportunists, but can be an indicator that there might be something decent in there .
Catch 22 .
It's got Windows all over so dead obvious eff all in it
I had to get a steel plate and lock reinforcements fitted after some scrote put a hole in my Renault's barn door...
I went to Sussex Installations in Eastbourne... they did a great job.
However whilst I was there, I brushed along side a Merc van and set the alarm off for a long as I touched it....perimetric alarm. Awesome!! 👌🏼
I'm only keeping my Renault for a short time, so plan on fitting one of those alarms to my next van. Think they're about £500.
