Thinking is getting some of these for the 6 year old. He'll want to play with them as well as just look a them

My 3 yr old has a couple. Its like lego but a tighter fit so is a bit more difficult to take apart. They look good though.

I have seen reviews that suggest they're tough enough for young kids to play with them without bits snapping. Note though that the markings are stickers so will need to be cut along the piece lines if your son will want to dismantle/rebuild the thing rather than just build it once.
