So after recently buying a pair for running and cycling I find they are not great.
Does any one else have the same issues with the connection cutting/spluttering when in a back pocket? all I have to do is turn my head and sometimes it cuts out! I find they are worse in built up areas buy also not great when out on country roads. I have never experienced bluetooth headphones so bad. Connected to an S7. Is it just me? I've been on to their customer support and tried the reset un pair etc but no difference. Before I try with another phone I'd thought I'd see what the experience was like here?
Cheers
Wife had same issue, I did the delete from phone/unpair restart phone and headset reset twice. This has worked for her. I found the CS good as they wanted the headset back but as it was working well I didn't see the point really
I use them with an S8 and haven't had any problems like that.
I've had similar problems when connecting to 2 different Sony Xperias. I found that if I rode with my phone in my middle jersey pocket it would often cut out, but keeping it on the right hand side is generally fine.
The issues were usually worse at higher speed, which I never understood.
Mine stay connected when my phone is on the desk in the loft and I'm one floor below having a break.
Have had issues where iPhone is in a cargo pocket on my trousers.
All fine when it's in a jersey pocket.
Thanks for the replies Guy's. I'll try the reset again and hopefully that will sort it. If not then I don't think I can put up with them so might try and return them.
Bluetooth connection will be shoddy if its trying to go through your body. Bluetooth works super well in air and really badly through water. Minimise the amount of body between receiver and source - see if that solves the issue.
Not had a problem with mine on an iPhone or Sony Xperia Z5C, but my Moto Z2 (which has know shitty bluetooth firmware) they were a pain with!
I had this intermittently on my old phone, restarting the phone cleared it
Yea I know It's the body that is the problem but these seem really bad compared to loads of other bluetooth headphones. I mean they are designed for running and cycling. Where do you put your phone when running unless you wear an arm band. In your arse pocket on running shorts as it dosn't bounce much. Where do you put your phone when cycling in rear jersey pocket unless you have a frame bag or tube tube bag. They just seem pretty poor at doing what they are designed for!
I’ve been using mine for 2 years. Their range is about 20m from the phone before they cut out.
