Hi. I've got some adware bug on my desktop. I get highlighted text on certain words on this forum which when you hover over it brings up a mini window with an ipad competition. I've also got random ads appearing on the BBC site!! 👿
I've tried spybot S&D, Malware, but no better. It doesn't appear in Firefox
If you're running chrome, it's an adware plugin that you should be able to disable by going to:
spanner > tools> extensions
find the blighter and delete. i had to do something similar a while back :/

You will find it in your browser extensions/plug ins as Codec C. Uninstall the little shitehawk.
Oh, so you're using IE? You deserve everything you get then 😛
(btw disabling the adware should be done in a very similar way to chrome: tools > manage add-ons and disable the offending article)
