I know there are a few sharp shooters here so if any Nikon users have experience with either the above, please help me make the choice.
Using a D90 with a 18-105mm vr & 50mm f1.4 lens at the moment & cannot streach at the moment to a decent, f2.8 80-200 or 70-200.
The 55-300mm seems to be selling for quite a bit less than the 70-300mm?
Planning to use it to shoot local wildlife/landscapes plus close ups of my kids doing karate comps. nothing flash or taxing tbh.
