Are these any good? Should have bought a pair when the 30% deal was on

I have had several pair of the mids.. would definitely buy another pair as I usually go through a pair of any boots every 6 months (I'm a gardener and walk miles every day at work). They aren't amazingly waterproof though is the only downside. But for lightweight comfy shoes / boots that will do about 2000 miles they are great.

I took advantage of the 30% deal on a pair of the mid GTX and I was that impressed I bought a pair of the Terrex AX3 shoes (non GTX) which are also ace. I missed out on the 30% for them but I fired in an old code that I found for 20% off which surprisingly the web site accepted. I think the code was SPRING20....might be worth a punt if you decide to pull the trigger. Remember to size up if you do, they come up small.

I have a pair for walking the dog, great for wet grass. I needed a size up from my normal size as they are a bit narrow over the toe.

They're a bit stiff and clompy but I really like my pair. I've even run in them when all my other shoes were wet. Bought them to walk to work, 10km e/w on back roads and paths, so they have done some mileage. Not so much now as I started running in.
Soles wear well. Drawstring lace thing is annoying, doesn't stay in the holder and flaps around. Being gtx they fill up with water in heavy rain as it runs down your ankle into the shoe, but you know that I guess.
Would have another pair, especially if I see them reduced.
