Some of the children, aged between 5 and 11,were in tears after the Rev Simon Tatton-Brown, 65, spoke at Charter Primary School in Chippenham, and parents have threatened to boycott Christmas services at his church. Linzi Merritt, whose son Levi 9, was at the assembly, said: "We wouldn't just walk into the church during one of his services and tell everyone Jesus isn't real. Loads of kids went home crying - it has ruined Christmas for them. "A lot of them are now questioning the existence of the tooth fairy as well. Who knows what else he has told them? He may even have been talking about Satan as well!"
