My mams just been to see a doc regarding her rheumatoid arthritis and he has suggested looking at some formof supplement to help her. So the question is does anyone now the ratio of creatine to protein that she should take, bearing in mind she ain't lifting any weights

I'd get over to myprotein.com and ask on the forum there - there's a couple of doctors and high profile dietitians lurking around 😉

Sounds weird. Just take the recommended dose of creatine (on the packaging). There is no ratio.

No idea on how much protein you'd want for that application.

Edit: a quick Google suggests it's related to building muscle, which in turn aleviates arthritis. So... whatever it says on the tin for protein too. Seems surprising that it would do anything without exercise.

I've never used it but don't you take a varying amount of creatine on a cycle basis?

It's been a while since I researched creatine, but without exercise there is a risk of water retention if I recall correctly.

There's a loading phase with creatine, but I don't know if there's any point bothering if you're not exercising.

Who suggested creatine? Doubt it was the Doc!
