Well as there's nowt worth watching on tellybox...

I'll be recommending:

Monday night, around eleven pm, radio two = Leadbelly - a secret history of rock and roll

suggest me something else (mark & lard are also a bit of a treat nowdays, also on the big R2)

You will find that Lard has been replaced with Stuart Marconie. If you have a DAB radio go explore the ether. I listen to the World Service quite a bit.

Radio4 is quite good in the evening, usually something interesting on, be it a play or documentary. I like it cos it means a bit of grown-up entertainment without being tied to the TV. Mrs reckons I'm just old.

Yep, sadly I listen to Radio 4 almost exclusively now.

Intelligent comment, informed debate and amusing comedy.

I consider it an antidote to spending time here ๐Ÿ˜€

lolz at monotokpoint... I was thinking the same - it's funny how meanings of words change.

"mobile" is another one - used to mean a thing hanging from the ceiling with cut out shapes on...

Radcliffe and Marconi for us on R2. Always amusing and makes the chores bareable. Also 6Music especially Saturdays, Craig Charles is funky and during the week, Steve Lamacq. Radio 4 most of the day gets me through.
