It's not mine!
Spent all my formative years and young adult life in Glasgow, but moved away 30 years ago. Now find myself involved in planning a high end dinner (50th Wedding anniversary) and not a clue about what's hot and what's not, so looking for suggestions.
As a yardstick, something equivalent to Edinburgh's Tower, the former Oloroso, Channing's, Angel's with Bagpipes would fit the bill.
Recommendations gratefully received!
Isn't The Ubiquitous Chip still one of the best places?
I find the aa restaurant guide good for this sort of thing. Look for hotels with 2 or more aa rosettes for food
Country house hotel might work better for older guests than a hot town centre location
We had our small wedding in Brian Maule's last year. They have nice private dining downstairs with it's own bar. http://www.brianmaule.com Highly recommended.
Thanks for the suggestions, guys. Any more from the evening crowd?
Rogano would be my choice. Always top notch.
