I bought 4lbs of frozen blueberries thinking they'd be good for the cake but no, Mrs Hairychested says they aren't. What can I do with them then? Some ideas would be useful. Thanks!
Muffins! They will be fine for that.
You can shift a few sticking them in breakfast cereal...
PIE!
GIN!
Smoothie!
Blueberry parfait as you can keep it in the freezer, blueberry bakewell or some jam for the cold months as they are a super food after all.
fine for muffins. and pie, and making a blueberry sauce for pancakes, and brekkie, in porridge/on muesli, etc....
mmmmm, blueberries.
jam.
clean, crush, add vodka, leave, drink
Vanilla ice cream, good rum, Bluberries. blend and voila, top smoothie action!
defrost, scoop handful, force in gob, repeat
Also if you have any spare raspberries I found they work extremely well in a bacon ciabatta
Can I have some recipes for pies please? And the gin one too 🙂
Awesome in porridge!!
Make american style blueberry pancakes - delicious!
put them in some gin or vodka with some stem ginger and sugar. this time next year drink too much cos it tastes like pop. or serve with soda water for "total refreshment"
women + paddling pool + blueberries
now if they were billberries we could talk, but blueberries, only good for the bin I am afraid.
American tasteless drivel.
or am I being blueberryist ?
cheesecake
women + paddling pool + blueberries
wow
blunderbuss!
women + paddling pool + blueberries
clearly the best answer, but otherwise, semifreddo (our mrs has a recipe from Tesco from years back - it's bloody lovely stuff)
(also involves cream, if you have sufficient ladies and a paddling pool)
Cobbler.
(American version of crumble - probably more sugar and fat in it!)
Chutney, how much ginger and sugar? And how much vodka?
JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM
😛
