not the Travel Man programme, although I have watched that. I'm away to Berlin on Thursday, anyone got any 'don't miss' tips?

Definitely want to go and see the Berlin Wall art gallery but other than that what do I need to see?

Heard the Kit Kat club is a must visit....!

A walking tour is a great way to see the city, pointing out things like all the bullet holes in the walls that you wouldn't have noticed. Pop into the Radisson blu hotel, see the huge fish tank. Stasi museum was interesting but a bit out the way. There is a part of the city with bits of the wall preserved and with a bit of the history, much better than checkpoint Charlie ( you'd see checkpoint Charlie on a walking tour, worth no more than walk by). I enjoyed the transport museum, needs an afternoon though.

I always recommend this:  https://www.fattiretours.com/berlin

A great way to get around and see all the major sites and then you can choose any you want to go back to. I would say it is pretty much perfect if you are only there for a short time.

We went there in April. Fab city and great to walk round. The east side art gallery is a fair walk from the centre, but doable and very worth seeing. The holocaust memorial is impressive and sobering and right next to the Brandenburg Gate, so doesn't need much planning. The Reichstag is supposed to be good but you MUST book tickets in advance if you are to have any chance of getting in...we didn't and couldn't! Museum island is good if that's your kind of thing and you can get a ticket that lets you in lots of museums for 3 days for about £25.

White Trash Fast Food.

Literally the best bar/restaurant/tattoo parlour/concert venue I've ever been in. Amazing place

Definitely the Reichstag tour, brilliant views of the city, nice as the sun is going down, but that may be difficult at this time of the year.

Berlin wall memorial in Bernauer Strasse  - by far the best wall based trip we otook, (don't bother with Checkpoint Charlie, touristy rubbish).

Keiser Wilhelm church is interesting, it's the one with the modern belltower build after the wall.

Nobody has mentioned the TV tower yet, didn't manage to get tickets but impressive to see.
