Is it possible he needed extra support due to a back or neck injury, and the Leatt just happened to do the job?

I would doubt that... have you got a Leatt??

The guy is in contention for a Darwin award, pure and simple.

Having said that I have one for sale... I shall now add 'ideal for commuting' to the description.

riding with a leatt and non full face'ers can cause serious injury if you fall off. saxon rider I guess you don't know how neck braces work they don't support your neck
I had to do a double take and sure enough it was a leatt. Id forgive him if he was riding a fixie

I was starting to think you'd seen South Wales' newest and most affordable removals man in action.

Sorry. Never used a neck brace. In fact, I've probably only seen one once. Having said that, do you think I could get away with wearing one on my Raleigh commuter bike if it went with my suit?

with a suit it'd look quite dapper riding your Raleigh commuter
