I was watching an auction on eBay for a stem and asked the seller if he would end the auction early for the right price and he agreed.

From then on we communicated via email.

He informed me that he sent the stem out 2nd class on Monday but it still hasn't arrived.

I've emailed him a couple of times and to be honest I think he is giving me the run around.

The first time he said it was posted out Saturday morning(bear in mind I didn't pay for it until 11o'clock Saturday night)

The next excuse was that my postcode isn't on PayPal when it clearly is as it was sent to one of my confirmed address

Am I being fobbed off or does 2nd class normally take longer than 4 days?

In his last email he informed me I was being "aggro" so he was going to forward any more emails from me to his junk

A lad on here sent something to me on Tuesday on that got here yesterday!!

I didn't buy it through eBay mate!

Deal was done outside of eBay via email

Well it tells you here.

But I"d not be worried yet.

Maybe he's just a bit pissed off with you harassing him!
You should give any post a week before even emailing the sender.
I bought a seat post during summer (good weather, no snow), and it still took RM 14 working days (the max before its declared lost!) before they got it to me, it was sent 1st or 2nd class recorded.
You paid by PP, so you're not going to lose money, just have patience.

This is why 2nd class recorded at £3.15 is worth it!!

It can take longer than 4 days. I recently sent something from where I live (Kent) to South Wales - sent on Wednesday didn't arrive until the following Thursday (i.e. 8 days).

Where is the item being sent from/to?
