I started work here (Company I work for, not STW forum!).

I'm really not sure how I feel about it.

Going to t'pub at lunchtime though 🙂

We had three guys retired last year who had something like 115 years at the college between them. One had started teaching here straight after uni and had done his teaching placements here.

Hum...

I took an apprenticeship 30 years ago this Aug with the plan of completing the 4 years and then travelling...

but life got in the way, would I change any of it no.

So as long as your happy take some cakes into work and celebrate your achievement, there are lots of people I know who would have loved to have worked for the same company for 20 years.

Kona TC, I started work soon as I left school if you hadn't guessed my Birthday is in January so would be over the 5 month mark.

Absolutely nothing, not even a quick word or e-mail from the boss.

Makes me feel really valued.
