bloody hell, she is good.
my hip is pain free for the 1st time in 4 months, and i have just been walking round without my crutches. 2nd visit booked.
things she told me were, that i am riddled with arthritis, and from the middle of my spine down i am stiffer/less mobile than a 70 year old. this has been cause by over compensating for the last 10 years with a slowly deteriorating right ankle.
good news is, that she will get me mobile again and that i managed to put my own sock and trainer on after the session.
god is good....... 8)

I did shitloads of physio for my broken hip but it was all totally recovery focused, lots of hard work building muscle and flex and basically relearning to walk... Couple of years later, I got a therapeutic massage on that leg and Oh. My. God. I couldn't sleep for the next 48 hours because it was too weird and unsettling having my leg not hurt ๐
ever wondered what it feels like to be trampled by a herd of wildebeest?
I do this morning........... ๐
^ I hear that said to me a fair bit ๐
Great news on the recovery progress.
Last female physio I got beaten up by kept a baseball bat in the room in case the patient got the wrong idea!
Yeah, a physio session is "interesting"! I usually feel like I want to hover about 30cm above the bench for the entire session - a mixture of dread and knowing it will feel better (eventually).
Make sure you do the exercises you are given, just as important as the session itself.
just been laid on some cardboard on the warehouse floor doing my exercises.
feels ace now.
I bet no ones taking the mick out of for doing them. They would if it was me!
