Just popped out in the car and outside temperature was showing 16°C.

This weather is crazy.

I wonder what effect it's having on the hibernating animals and such like?

That's a coincidence, it must have been at least 16 (cm) deep out on the road. Flooding is really bad in Lancs, I've never seen the road over Deerplay moor flood and that's 1200ft up.

Warm and windy here. Which I will take any day over the terrible flooding others are having.

15ºc here but blowing strong enough to almost stop the bike going down hill , peddling hard too go down after you've struggled your tits off to get up is not funny .

And Dunblane, with added heavy rain. It made for a 'character building' boxing day walk...

22 degrees here. Beach was red flagged this morning , due to massive waves though. But of a disappointment for the kids after a 1km walk to get there

I have just looked at the UK January forecast - seems similar warmth and lack of cold is dominant. More wet, more flooding, way above average temperatures due.

It's not 16 degrees up north. Was snowing up in the hills before.

Felt warm walking around with no jacket.

Heard it was warm for day or 2 then back to 8C eek!

I've enjoyed the climate change (yes it's bad for the planet) but it's been a great winter 🙂

Edit: feel bad for the people with flooding in the news 🙁

Really? It's been consistently horrible up here. Wet. Windy. Muddy. Grey. Miserable. Give me the sound of crunching frost underfoot and fresh blue skies any day.

Not to say cold temps = blue skies, but it's been exceptionally shit this year.
