Had the usual 2 weetabix and cup of tea at 7.30.
Stomach's rumbling like a good 'un
How will I make it to lunch?

just give in and eat....

To make you feel worse I've just had a cheese omelette with nice bread for my brunch.

why wait?

I have soemthing to eat every couple of hours or so and not cram it all into a 15 minute binge at lunchtime. I tend to fall asleep if I have a big lunch anyway...

2 weetabix? No wonder you're hungry! Eat a proper breakfast - muesli if you can't be bothered to cook anything.

2 weetabix won't fill me up at all. There's only 126 calories in 2 weetabix, you are trying to go all morning on that?

There was a nice fruit cake in reception yesterday that someone's mother made.
I'll have a slice of that in a bit if there's some left.
*must not go to MacDonalds for lunch*

use your will power.

Why would you want to go to McD's for lunch? You'd end up sitting in an office all afternoon sweating out grease, horrible.

126 calories you say!
Just as well I cover them in granulated sugar then
I think porridge might be in order tomorrow

Actually I've got a dentists appt this afternoon so I need to think carefully about what I eat. Don't want to be too pungent for her!

2 Weetabix?

My 6-year-old daughter has 2 Weetabix. Then a yoghurt or some cheese.

I eat at least 3 weetabix (4 if i'm particularly hungry): no wonder you're hungry!

A bowl of porridge is half a cup of oats (unless you make it uber-thick). That's probably not any more calories, and you're boiling it down to make it get absorbed and used up faster. Porridge fills me up for about 30 mins, then leaves me absolutely Hank Marvin.

Muesli, seriously. It's the only cereal worth bothering with. Or crunchy oats, which is delicious, but does contain a not inconsiderable amount of fat.

I had my lunch about 30 minutes ago. If I'm hungry, I eat (although I suspect that boredom might be playing a part).

you kidding? course not
When he gets home from school he bounces on a trampoline for an hour. Plays tennis twice a week, generally runs round like a lunatic
Me, I sit behind a desk all day and ride my bike for 2 hours at the weekend if I'm lucky.

I find that if I'm busy, lunch comes around 'quicker'... if it's a quiet day on the wards, come 10am I'm gagging for my lunch!

Once the hands reach 12, that food's got no chance....!!!

I have breakfast around 8 (2X weetabix but covered in strawbewrry and banana at the moment) then rice cakes with peanut butter on round 10.30, then an apple around 11, then lunch around 12.30 and more fruit in the afternoon, plus the occasional cereal bar - ok so I never really stop eating but I have to keep my weight up somehow right? 😛
