Having a look round and a bit lost.

So how fast does it need to be ? 1 1.2 1.5 1.6 ghz !!!!!
Storage? 8 16 32 !!
Ram?
How many cores ? Will last years Dual be ok or Quad so much better

Kids are 9 and 11

Would like to be free to go anywhere so not Kindle etc

Just going round and round at the moment

My kids (13 and 9) use a cheap Archos tablet (I think it's a 10b G3) - and it's fine, no complaints. So unless they're used to using something decent I'd just get a cheap Android tablet and be done.

I had a look at the Archos 97 cobalt and thought it looked a nice one

My daughter has broken two netbook screens so far so I don't want anything too pricey as they all break when dropped/ sat on
The look on her face when she jumped on the sofa only to click that was where she had put the netbook 😀

Just got the Kids the GoPad Appi based on a friend's recommendation. 9" for £100. Just arrived so I haven't payed with it yet.
