These types of rides (dare I say "like we used to do back in the 90s") have become our default setting in recent times - first the series of lockdowns dictated local rides and then the recent systematic trail destruction by the storms up here (SW Scotland) have changed our options.
Definitely been reaching for the hardtail a lot more then the FS...
This side of the Wye Valley is magical for riding. It is unlike anywhere else in the country to be fair.
