i have just bought an 09 Yeti 575 from here
http://www.evolutionimports.co.uk/shop/products/clearance/575-hydroformed-top-tube-2009-841632.html
and a fox float 140 RL from here

it states it is a 1.5" steerer but the big picks look like it might be a 1.5" taper.
Either way do you know if a '09 575 can take a 1.5 straight or a 1.5 taper?
kind of hoping it is a taper so that i only have to get a headset and not a new stem too! (i think)
I'd been looking at a 2011 575 and sure I read that the tapered head tube was new on the 2011 model. Thought that ones before that had a straight 1 1/8th head tube which wouldn't fit a tapered steerer. Might be wrong though.
a bit of lateral thinking and a tape measure proved you right, I have a 1 1/8 head tube diameter head tube, off to hang my head in shame alnd look at CR returns policy
Has your frame arrived yet?
If so when did you order it?
Frame turned up today at 11am. ordered at 1pm the day before. Great service! Saying that I hear they have had some problems with importing frames from the USA. Snow, Christmas and Heathrow have caused them probs. Mine was a clearance job so in stock!
did you get the xs white/turq?
Yeah I ordered a clearance one too, at 3.30pm yesterday.
Hoping it arrives tomorrow, but I haven't had an email saying that it has been despatched, did you get anything like that?
You're not the first to order those forks and then scratch your head at what you are going to use them for. 1.5" steerer, 140mm and QR?
Rich, did not get a mail either. They reckon 24 / 48hrs I suspect your new toy will arrive tomorrow!
Druidh, I feel like a nob for not checking the steerer size. Explains the price. Will be returned tomorrow ๐
Anyone like to recommend me a fork?

To be fair, the "leading" photo and the text don't match either.
